She is messy, but she's kind
Corporate communications by day, introspective nonfiction by night.
Stephanie Laurenza grew up in the Rust Belt, in one of the many thrived-in-the-50s-died-by-the-80s small towns ravaged by the double whammy streamlining of steel mill operations and America’s opioid crisis.
She works in corporate communications for a manufacturing company. When she’s not strategizing to tell her company’s stories, she’s daydreaming about how to tell her own, exploring the tension between Then and Now, how the transition from New Castle Stephanie to Pittsburgh Stephanie became possible. . . and/or day drinking outside somewhere.
Stephanie lives in Pittsburgh, PA with three cats (#ClowderClan) and her wonderful husband whom she grew up across the street from -- really! Her passions include reading, reality TV, coffee, red wine and spending time with people she loves (bonus points if any of the above include the aforementioned drinking outside).
Stephanie writes with the Madwomen in the Attic at Carlow University, where she earned her B.A. in Mass Media Communication. She also holds both an M.A. in Media Communications and an MBA from Point Park University.
